4 Brian Davies Collection

Born in Denby Dale in 1939 at Stove End, during the war Brian moved into Denby Dale and went to school locally. This section is a collection of photos of his parents’ upbringing in Denby Dale in the 1890s. Brian’s grandfather, Edward Davies, was a groom and coachman for the McGregor family, Dr McGregor was the Area Medical Officer. Brian is an active member of the Hands on History group.
