3 Denby Dale Schools

Since the opening of the Undenominational schools in Denby Dale in 1874 primary education has continued to be provided in the village. There have been changes in names and the organisation of age groups. This section provides an overview of almost 200 years of primary education in the village, combining the work of the school’s archivist and the Hands on History group.
