2 Denby Dale School, (1874 - 1976) & Denby Dale Nursery, (1978 - 2014)

This section contains mainly class photos illustrating the 140 years’ history of the building used first by the Denby Dale schools between 1874 and 1976, and then by Denby Dale Nursery between 1978 and 2014. (In 2014 Denby Dale Nursery moved up to join Gilthwaites First School.) These photos were collected by the school’s archivist, Pete Belsey, and were lent mainly by former staff, parents and pupils. Hard copies of most of the photos are held at the school.
