Denby Dale School, (1874 - 1976) & Denby Dale Nursery, (1978 - 2014)

In 2014 Denby Dale Nursery moved up to join Gilthwaites First School. The building it left behind ceased to be used as the village school or nursery for the first time in 140 years.

These photos illustrate the school and nursery’s history, with photos lent mainly by former staff, parents and pupils.
